What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABA Behavior Technician position at Finni Health?

As a Behavior Technician you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patient families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.
Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting
Collect and record data on child behaviors
Work closely with BCBAs and help build the best treatment plans
Attend team meetings as designated to share your weekly experience, collaborate with other team members and provide feedback for how we can improve

What You'll Need
Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within child care
Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs
Reliable Transportation
Proof of completion of a 40-hour Behavior Technician training course
Pass RBT Certification within 90 days of hire (we will help you study)
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time
Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time
