Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. This role involves working closely with clients, their families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective behavioral interventions tailored to each individual's needs.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement and monitor behavioral therapy programs using applied behavior analysis techniques.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to provide education and support regarding behavior management strategies.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of client progress in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide training and supervision to staff members on best practices in behavioral therapy.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Advocate for clients’ needs within the community and assist in accessing additional resources or services.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of special education practices and behavioral health principles.
- Proficiency in patient care techniques, including patient assessment and intervention strategies.
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop individualized treatments plan.
- Familiarity with working with individuals on the autism spectrum is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive medical records responsibly.
