Automotive Detailer

Position Summary

The duties of the Detailer are to meticulously clean and polish vehicles resulting in a spotless vehicle that goes far beyond the scope of a routine carwash.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Clean the interior and exterior of all vehicles in compliance with company standards
• Operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums., and other equipment to meet service expectations
• Maintain and enhance the appearance of vehicles by using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents
• Maintain appearance of automotive inventory
• Apply FMC sticker to inventory
• Move and park vehicles when required
• Deliver vehicles to the correct dealership location
• Perform exterior/interior inspection of each vehicle detailed
• Manage inventory and reorder supplies as needed
• Maintain cleanliness of detail department
• Other duties as required by management

Minimum qualifications (knowledge, skills, and abilities

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Prior automotive detailing knowledge preferred, but not required

· Skilled with hands and an eye for detail

· Customer service oriented

· Ability to communicate well

· Ability to work effectively in a team environment

· Reliable and good time management

· Basic computer knowledge

The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 55 per week
