About the Role: The Software Implementation and Training Specialist will guide customers through the implementation process of FinnlySport's software and provide comprehensive training to ensure they fully understand and can effectively use the platform. This role requires technical knowledge, customer service, patience, and teaching skills to ensure successful software adoption and user satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

IMPLEMENTATION PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT

  • Work with new customers to develop and execute a customized implementation plan.
  • Conduct needs assessments to understand customer requirements and configure the software accordingly.
  • Provide remote assistance during the software setup and initial use phases.
  • Monitor and track the implementation progress, promptly addressing any issues.


CUSTOMER TRAINING

  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for customers, including training sessions, webinars, and one-on-one coaching.
  • Create training materials such as user manuals, video tutorials, and quick reference guides.
  • Customize training sessions based on each customer's specific needs and workflows.
  • Ensure customers are proficient in all aspects of the software, including scheduling, billing, maintenance tracking, and customer relationship management.


SUPPORT AND TROUBLESHOOTING

  • Provide ongoing customer support during implementation to address any questions or technical issues.
  • Work closely with the support team to resolve complex issues and escalate as necessary.
  • Gather customer feedback to improve training materials and implementation processes continuously.
  • Other duties include software testing, support materials, and providing software support.


COLLABORATION AND COMMUNICATION

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer expectations and ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation.
  • Communicate regularly with customers to provide updates on implementation status and gather feedback.
  • Work with the product development team to relay customer feedback and contribute to product improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in software implementation, training, or a related role.


Required Skills:

  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering effective training programs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • A patient and friendly approach to training
  • The ability to motivate others
  • Capability of working effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in the sports or recreation industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of various sports is highly beneficial
