Job Description
We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced construction estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately assessing project costs, preparing estimates, and collaborating with project managers and clients to ensure successful project execution. This role requires a solid understanding of construction processes, cost control measures, and effective negotiation skills. Previous experience in rehabilitation and reconstruction a plus.
This is a full-time role located in Clackamas, OR with office and remote work. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing and estimating the cost of exterior renovation and construction projects. You will collaborate with the team to develop accurate and competitive proposals, communicate with clients to ensure their needs are met, and oversee the project from estimation to completion.
Qualifications
- Experience in estimating and cost analysis for renovation and construction projects.
- Ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, labor requirements, and costs.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately assess project requirements.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using Xactimate, excel, word and outlook.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Experience in the multifamily property management or construction industry is a plus.
