LOCATION : The Public Relations VP will be based in our Boston office. This is a hybrid role, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely each week. It is a full-time, direct-hire position. (There is one open VP position in our Tech PR practice, which can be filled in either Boston or NYC. This is the VP ad for Boston.)
Applicants must have extensive (8 years) of PR agency and professional public relations experience to effectively manage and grow B2B and B2C Tech PR client campaigns. This position will also support developing new business presentations, manage and cultivate PR staff members, and help set the tone for how the business is managed.

The PR associate VP is an essential client contact who ensures our team develops and executes high-quality strategic communications campaigns that exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities :
- Be a strategic PR counselor to clients who can manage the art (creative recommendations) and science (KPIs and results) of PR campaigns and programs.
- Recommend insight-driven strategic programs and media activations that meet the client’s business and communications objectives and goals.
- Serve as day-to-day client contact managing overall program responsibilities and deliverables and establishing a position as the client’s “go to” person in all matters related to program execution.
- Develop media strategy documents, goals, media targets, pitch angles, and media materials that are strong in both structure and AP style, and require minimal input from senior team leadership.
- Leverage existing relationships and create new relationships across technology trade and business media to drive coverage on behalf of clients.
- Demonstrate ability to develop strategies / content platforms and concepts that simultaneously leverage traditional and social media for our clients.
- Productively provide ideas to clients to maximize communications results and / or anticipate issues.
- Manage professional development of team members as assigned.
- Play a pivotal role in business development, both net new and organic, including soliciting new business, creating presentations, sharing the agency’s vision, and point of difference.
Requirements :
Salary range is $120,000-$150,000. The salary offered will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s experience and is dependent upon the workplace.
