Role Summary: Private Wealth Management: Summer Intern
Are you ready to dive into the dynamic world of private wealth management? This Seattle-based internship opportunity starting June 2025 is designed for driven, high-potential finance enthusiasts who are eager to challenge themselves, learn from experienced mentors, and build a foundation for a successful career in wealth management.
This is not a "coffee and copies" internship. You’ll engage in meaningful work that directly impacts our clients' success, while developing skills in investment analysis, financial planning, marketing, business development. and client relationship management.
We are looking for individuals with intellectual curiosity, relentless work ethic, and a genuine desire to self-develop in a collaborative, high-accountability environment. This role would be working closely with the Principal.
What You Will Do With Us During Your Internship?
1. Investment Operations and Portfolio Development Support
- Analyze equities, fixed income, and alternative investment opportunities.
- Prepare client portfolio performance reports and key meetings.
- Research market trends and identify strategies to align portfolios with client objectives.
2. Financial Planning Development and Analysis
- Contribute to comprehensive financial plans that cover retirement, tax optimization, and estate planning.
- Assist in the preparation of client-facing deliverables, including review reports and presentations.
- Synthesize financial data with market opportunities to present recommendations for Principal.
3. Client Relationship Insights
- Shadow Principal during client meetings to gain exposure to high-level relationship management.
- Contribute to client engagement strategies, including personalized outreach and event planning.
4. Operational Excellence
- Maintain detailed records in CRM systems, ensuring precision and compliance.
- Support administrative tasks tied to client servicing and operational management.
5. Business Development
- Promote our business and investment approach and philosophy to prospects and target audience through marketing and events.
- Support administrative tasks tied to marketing outreach, servicing and operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Current undergraduate students (sophomores, juniors, or seniors) with strong academic performance.
- A demonstrated interest in finance, investing, and wealth management.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis, and financial modeling is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- A growth mindset and an eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute to a dynamic environment.
- Integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
