Lab Technician – Finoric (Midland, TX)
About Us:
Finoric is a leading chemical manufacturing company specializing in innovative solutions for various industries. We are seeking a Lab Technician to join our team in Midland, TX. This role is critical in supporting our R&D and quality control efforts to ensure our products meet the highest standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine and non-routine chemical analysis on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Prepare chemical solutions, reagents, and test samples according to standard procedures.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Record, analyze, and report test results with attention to accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in the development of new testing methods and process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality control regulations.
- Work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to support manufacturing processes.
- Maintain an organized and clean laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s or Chemical Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1-3 years of laboratory experience in a chemical, industrial, or manufacturing setting.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with wet chemistry techniques, titrations, and instrumental analysis (e.g., FTIR, viscometers, pH meters).
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and maintain detailed documentation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and experience with laboratory software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
