Job Summary: The Coordinator, Member Learning and Experience will be responsible for overall department organization and coordination. This position oversees Finseca event speaker management for multiple events that host all levels of financial security professionals and manage operations for the member learning department. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Duties and Responsibilities
Member Learning & Experience
- Manage all aspects of multiple Finseca-hosted events as related directly to speakers and their presentations domestically.
- Coordinate calls for speakers for each event and manage submissions
- Schedule all touch points with speakers from selection through event presentation
- Collect all speaker presentations and associated materials
- Manage communication and coordination of speaker rehearsals
- Provide all instruction for speakers pre-, on-site, and post-event
- Primary liaison between speakers and the Finseca team.
- Work with Finseca volunteers to arrange a review of speaker presentations in advance of conferences.
- Work in partnership and collaboration with Finseca departments in relation to speaker management and preparation.
- Coordinate and prepare awards for presentation during conferences.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Manage all administrative support for the direct management of the SVP schedule, finances & department coordination.
- Complete and/or assist with projects assigned by the SVP, Member Learning
- Provides administrative support for various projects related to the Communities and Member Learning.
Skills & Experience
- 3-5-yr of professional experience of international and community liaison experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage under pressure and tight timelines to achieve positive outcomes.
- Works well within a team environment
- Proven experience managing and cultivating online community engagement is required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, customer management systems, website platforms, social media platforms. Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
