Assistant Facility Manager – Fintastic Swim Academy

We are looking for a motivated and team-focused Assistant Facility Manager to join our leadership team at our swim school in Orange City, Florida! This position supports daily operations, supervises staff, and ensures an excellent experience for our students and their families.
As the Assistant Facility Manager, you’ll play a key role in overseeing Swim Instructors and Front Desk Associates, maintaining a safe and organized facility, and ensuring classes run smoothly. This is a hands-on leadership role perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
Staff Supervision & Support
- Supervise Swim Instructors during lessons to ensure safety, consistency, and engagement.
- Support Front Desk Associates with training and day-to-day troubleshooting.
- Assist with onboarding new team members and fostering a positive work environment.
- Provide real-time feedback and coaching to promote growth and accountability.
Facility & Operations Management
- Monitor daily swim school operations and help ensure all classes start and end on time.
- Assist with class scheduling, instructor assignments, and student placements.
- Open and close the facility.
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for families and staff.
Customer Experience
- Act as a point of contact for parent questions or concerns, resolving issues professionally.
- Collaborate with the front desk to manage class changes, registrations, and payments.
- Communicate with families about student progress, class updates, and policies when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role is preferred.
- Background in aquatics, coaching, childcare, or customer service is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
- CPR/First Aid/Lifeguard certified (or willingness to obtain).
- Able to work evenings and weekends.
