Business Analyst – Second Line Risk Function (Resolution Planning)
Location: New York City (Hybrid: 2-3 days on-site)
Duration: 6 months
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our bank's Second Line Risk function, focusing on global resolution planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in resolution planning, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts in global resolution planning, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Analyze and address key risks associated with resolution planning processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective resolution strategies.
- Prepare detailed documentation and provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and regulators.
- Identify and implement process improvements in resolution planning workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Risk Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 3–5 years of experience in resolution planning within the financial services sector.
- In-depth knowledge of resolution frameworks and regulatory requirements (e.g., Basel III, Dodd-Frank).
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
