Machine Operator - Multiple Shifts

Fiocchi of America, Inc. is seeking multiple machine operators to join the 1st, 2nd & Weekend shift team.

We are located in Ozark, MO just south of Springfield lake and have been producing ammunition for over 30 years. We are growing rapidly and are looking for dedicated hard-working individuals that works well with others to join our team. Shift Options:

• 1st Shift Monday - Thursday 6:00am - 4:30 pm 10 hour shift with starting pay at $18.00
• 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4:25pm-2:55am 10 hour shift with starting pay at $19.00
• Weekend Shift Friday-Sunday 6:00am-6:30pm 12 hour shift with starting pay at $21.00

Basic Job Functions:

• Operators should be able to master all 4 stations and be able to rotate to different stations daily.
• Conduct material inspections at your assigned station to:
• Ensure that materials being used are accurate to current product build free from defects
• Maintain a rhythm of work to keep machine running smooth and efficient
• Continually inspect for various potential quality issues. Notify Line Lead / Supervisor as needed.
• Properly and efficiently box up product at a rate to avoid machine stoppages
• Ensure proper lot identification is stamped legibly on all boxes/cases for product produced
• When asked, conduct and/or assist in machine changeovers
• Daily removal of generated trash
• Keep machine and area organized and clean throughout shift
• Perform end of shift clean up requirements
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be able to cooperate and work well with others in a team environment
• Must be able to read and have basic math skills
• Must be able to follow instructions
• Must be able to work overtime when required

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to climb, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and lift, for a 10/12 hour shift
• Must be able to lift up to 40lbs alone and up to 80lbs with assistance
• Must be able to lift 30-35lb boxes of product repeatedly throughout the shift
• Good vision to detect potential quality issues on product

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
