Summary:

Driver will be responsible for transferring wine cases in 53’ dry van trailer. Shuttling from bottling warehouse to storage warehouse (approx. 4 miles away). The bottling warehouse has 4 loading docks, driver is responsible to hook on dry van, take it to storage warehouse and bring back empty dry van to put in the same loading dock. Required to do the same rotation throughout the shift. When not driving from the bottling warehouse to the storage warehouse, driver will be responsible for transporting, wine, lees, machinery, etc. in a timely manner.

Requirements

You Will:

• Have knowledge in Pre Trip inspections and perform daily at beginning of shift.
• Report to supervisor of any damage or repairs needed.
• Transport wine, case goods, lees, machinery, etc.
• Operate Fork lift safely.
• Load / Unload IBC’s.
• Ensure all loads are secured.
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT, OSHA, and Company safety programs.
• Have knowledge of TTB/Compliance regulations needed on Bills of lading.
• Have good communication skills with Supervisor, Inspector, Co-Workers, and our Customers.
• Ability to manage time wisely
• Clean, inspect, and perform minor maintenance tasks on assigned vehicle(s) as required
• Able to work weekends and overtime.
• Other duties as assigned

You Have:

• CDL Class A Drivers License.
• Have up to date CDL DOT Physical
• Minimum 2 year experience.
• Tanker, Doubles and Tipples Endorsement.
• Forklift experience
• Ability to pass a pre-employment DOT drug screening, physical, and background check.
• Able to rotate shifts minimum one week per month
• Ability to fix minor mechanical repairs for example light bulbs, mud flaps, air hoses etc.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds over moderate distances.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, crawl and walk.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs.
• Able to work overtime
• Able to work nights
• Able to be on call

Salary : $29 - $32
