Job Summary:

Fiore Industries is seeking highly professional and reliable Armed Private Security Officers to provide physical security services at a government facility in Santa Fe, NM. This position is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for personnel, property, and visitors. Officers must remain vigilant, uphold strict security protocols, and demonstrate exceptional professionalism while interacting with government personnel and the public.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and secure the facility by conducting regular patrols, access control, and surveillance.
• Enforce site-specific security directives and post orders.
• Control entry and exit points, verifying credentials and screening visitors.
• Maintain detailed Daily Activity Reports (DARs) documenting observations, incidents, and security-related activities.
• Respond to emergencies such as trespassing, medical situations, or security breaches, following appropriate protocols.
• Ensure compliance with federal security policies and Fiore Industries’ operational procedures.
• Assist in incident response and reporting, providing accurate and timely documentation.
• Remain on post for the duration of assigned shifts, ensuring vigilance and readiness.

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Level III Security Guard License (Required)
• Proven experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military service (Preferred)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• Certification in First Aid and CPR (Preferred)
• Strong conflict management skills and ability to de-escalate situations
• Excellent observational skills and attention to detail
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods
• Ability to pass a federal background check and drug screening
