Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery times and any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and compliance.
- Navigate efficiently using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
Skills
- Experience in heavy lifting and moving items safely is essential.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations is a plus.
- Previous experience as a commercial driver or delivery driver preferred.
- Proficient in loading and unloading techniques, including the use of pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor when interacting with clients.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to schedules.
