FedEx Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as you will be the face of our company during deliveries. The Delivery Driver will also be responsible for loading and unloading items, maintaining the vehicle, and adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload items efficiently, ensuring all products are secure during transit.
• Perform heavy lifting and moving of packages as required.
• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts for loading and unloading tasks.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and complete necessary paperwork.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.

Skills

• Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to navigate efficiently using maps or GPS systems.
• Previous experience as a van driver or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Delivery driver experience
• Non-CDL Class C

Pay: $20.00 - $20.02 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
