Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Product Engineer with a strong background in UX (User Experience) and UxD (User Experience Design) to create and optimize intuitive, high-impact user interfaces for our AI and data analytics applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and data scientists, to build data-rich applications that are not only powerful but also easy to use. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of design principles to ensure our products are both visually appealing and user-centric.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & User Experience Development:
• Lead the end-to-end UX design process for AI and data visualization applications, from concept through to prototype and final implementation.
• Create user personas, journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to understand user needs, technical constraints, and business goals.
• Ensure consistent design across all platforms (web, mobile, etc.), following industry best practices for responsive design.
• Data Visualization & Interaction:
• Develop and optimize interactive data visualizations that present complex information in an easy-to-understand format.
• Design intuitive dashboards, charts, and other visualization tools that facilitate seamless user interactions with large datasets.
• Continuously evaluate and improve the usability of data visualizations to ensure they meet the needs of our target audience and business objectives.
• AI-Driven Features:
• Collaborate with AI and data engineering teams to integrate AI-driven features into the user interface (e.g., predictive analytics, intelligent insights, machine learning models).
• Design interfaces that communicate AI-driven insights clearly, helping users understand the rationale behind recommendations or predictions.
• Testing & Iteration:
• Conduct user testing, including usability studies and A/B testing, to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and analytics to continuously enhance the product experience.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and properly implemented.
• Communicate design rationale and decisions clearly to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with product vision and strategy.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest design trends, UX methodologies, and technologies in AI, data visualization, and UX design.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, HCI (Human-Computer Interaction), or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience:
• 3 years of experience in UX and UxD design, preferably with a focus on AI, data visualization, or analytics applications.
• Proven experience in creating user interfaces for complex systems, particularly those related to data-driven products.
• Strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects, including data visualizations, dashboards, and interactive designs.
• Skills:
• Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles, including familiarity with visualization libraries such as D3.js, Chart.js, or similar.
• Proficiency in creating responsive and accessible designs.
• Knowledge of UX research methods, including user testing, wireframing, and usability analysis.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies and their application in user interfaces (e.g., ML models, predictive analytics).
• Technical Proficiency:
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to collaborate with developers in implementing designs.
• Ability to work in Agile development environments, collaborating in sprints and design iterations.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple projects simultaneously.
