Job Summary:
The Peer Community Coordinator reports to the Peer Support Program Manager. The Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with community partners to promote the program and recruit eligible participants and contractors. In addition to administrating the contract terms and agreed upon services to be completed by peer support contractors, the Coordinator is an active participant in program development and budget and grant management. Additionally, the Coordinator is responsible for gathering participant and contractor input to inform the design of a growing peer community. The Coordinator will largely be responsible for growing the different branches of Peer programming as needed in the community. They will also be the main back-up support for the Peer Support Program Manager.

Primary Duties:
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the ALMA and ACCION Peer Support Program, Latino Peer Community, and any future peer community growth
Oversee the peer contractors who administer peer supports including intake and program exits, peer visits, and group services and determines if agreed upon services are completed as well as administrative support, required meetings, invoices, scheduling, performance, budgeting and grant deliverables etc.
Conduct monthly one on one check ins with all contractors, as well as mandatory monthly in-person feedback meetings with contractors.
Support the Parenting program by providing administrative, event planning, invoices, scheduling, and other duties as assigned.
Assist the Program Manager in the design and administer the Parenting Tips by Text service offering relevant information in bi-weekly texts in English and Spanish to parents in Summit County.
Audit data entry using a systematic reporting structure, reviews data for completion and program integrity and maintains confidential data entry standards
Collaborate with all FIRC programs to ensure Social Determinants of Health are met through wrap-around supports and warm referrals
Codevelop and maintain up to date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and provide on-going training opportunities and support for the team of Peer Support Contractors.
Collaborate with contractors to organize and facilitate the monthly support groups (Grupo and Grupitos)
Plan and execute annual ALMA program graduation and 4 quarterly program events/workshops
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
When necessary, be available to back up the Program Manager with leadership support including timecards, scheduling, performance, and other duties as assigned to the Parenting program/staff.
Collaborate with Program Manger on researching and analyzing community data to inform enhancement of the Peer Support Programs.
Collaborate with Program Manager to develop systems related to program design and oversight including grant reporting, data auditing, monthly invoicing, and ongoing program evaluation
Maintain strong partnerships with community organizations and statewide partners while representing FIRC’s mission, vision and values.
Support outreach efforts to educate the community about Peer supports
Stay current with community resources and agencies to help contractors make appropriate participant referrals.
Facilitate opportunities for contractors to access optional support, education and resources
Maintain client confidentiality at all times
Other duties as assigned

General requirements of the position include:
Effectively demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish, required
An understanding of, connection to, and ability to effectively communicate and engage with community members, especially the local Hispanic/Latino population
Lived experience with mental and/or emotional health challenges preferred, in order to interact within a peer-to-peer model
Prior experience working in the mental health or human services field preferred
Prior supervisory experience preferred
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a team with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Computer skills and related software applications, including Microsoft 365 Suite
