Responsibilities & Duties:
- Invoice Processing: Manage receivables and payables by processing invoices accurately and timely.
- Customer Communication: Maintain communication with both internal teams and external customers to ensure smooth transactions.
- Receivable Deposits: Prepare and process daily receivable deposits.
- Freight Bills: Prepare and manage daily freight bills related to shipments.
- Accounting Support: Provide support to other accounting groups and departments as needed, assisting with various tasks.
- Wholesale Orders: Process weekly wholesale orders, shipments, and related invoices efficiently.
- Administrative Duties: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly administrative tasks as assigned to ensure department operations run smoothly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Excellent time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Google Drive and other relevant software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information.
- Strong proficiency with Excel.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Comfort with math and basic calculations.
- Attention to detail and precision.
- High ethical standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Experience in accounts receivable or accounts payable.
- Proven experience in driving process improvement.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and Finale Inventory System.
