Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough on-site surveys of fire sprinkler systems
- Manage day work onsite projects.
- Review material and pricing
- Schedule technicians with operations
- Assess, troubleshoot, and document system deficiencies, providing detailed reports back to deficiency representatives.
- Measure and evaluate pipe sizes, connections, and other system components to ensure compliance with safety standards and job requirements.
- Provide accurate system evaluations to aid in executing repair or replacement jobs.
- Work closely with service reps and deficiency reps to ensure system performance and safety are upheld.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams, service reps, and DRD regarding findings from site visits.
- Willingness to drive across multiple states (Maine, Rhode Island, Cape Mass, NH) to survey job sites as required.
- Communicate directly with customer’s onsite to determine solutions through repairs and upgrades.
- Ability to communicate with local AHJ to determine permitting process and assist when permits are required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the fire sprinkler industry, specifically in troubleshooting, system assessment, and service execution.
- A Sprinkler journeyman’s Sprinkler License is required.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety systems, sprinkler components, and regulations.
- Strong customer service skills and customer facing representation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to assess service reps and fire safety components accurately.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats.
- Willingness to travel regularly across New England, with access to a reliable vehicle.
- Previous experience as a Fire Sprinkler Technician or in a related field is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with safety codes, fire safety standards, and compliance measures.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
