Overview: This position requires competency in quality inspection, standard practice, and computer proficiency as it relates to various inspection tasks, including examining raw materials, assembly processes, and final products. This position also offers the opportunity to grow into a quality engineer role based on performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum associate’s degree required.
- Preferably have a minimum of 3 years & a maximum of 5 years of experience in an ISO 9001 production environment.
- Preferably have a minimum of 3 years & a maximum of 5 years of experience in an electronics production environment.
- Must be able to read and interpret work instructions and drawings.
- Must have experience with the proper handling of electronic components and observe ESD procedures.
- Must be proficient with various gauges for inspection and measuring.
- Must be proficient with Excel and able to provide weekly and monthly reports.
- Computer literacy is essential and a primary function of this role.
- Proven working knowledge of standard QA processes, inspections, documentation, and criteria.
- Understand proper escalation procedures and adhere to policy and procedure.
- Soldering of electronic components, PCBA, and SMT experience is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Inspect incoming, in-process, and outgoing products and report the results.
- Keep track of vendor performance, rejection reports, and production accountability.
- This position requires working on a PC to update, save, and retrieve files.
- Adhere to the company's quality management system and related policies, procedures, and standards.
- Perform additional job duties and requirements as assigned from time to time.
- Perform internal audits, conduct Gemba walks, and generate reports for findings.
- Capable of drafting company standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Control of nonconforming products or materials.
- Operate and maintenance of measuring test equipment.
- Run statistical studies to evaluate quality performance.
- Write and implement the organization’s quality standards and procedures
- Address customer concerns and assist in providing solutions.
- Assist in the development of new methods for improving production techniques to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Approve completed goods product shipment.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
