New Fire Apparatus Sales
Position Summary: Fire Line Equipment is growing, and we are hiring for Part Time sales positions in the Greater Altoona and Greater Sunbury areas. These positions require you to travel to current and prospective customer locations to solicit sales of New E-ONE & New CET fire apparatus and to demonstrate vehicles in an assigned territory. Customer meetings could include daytime, evening, or weekend appointments. Upon sale of a vehicle, travel to the manufacturing location could be required, usually in 3-day increments. Major Responsibilities: - You will work closely with prospective customers to help them purchase fire apparatus that will meet their needs. Primary duties of this role include customer location visits, trade show attendance, specification development using the company supplied quoting system, and vehicle demonstrations as required. You will also be responsible for sales tracking and reporting within the FLE contact management software. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by managers or owners.
Qualifications - Basic sales, negotiation, and presentation skills preferred, reading, math, oral communication, written communication, technical communication, customer relations, time management, demonstrated past problem solving, basic computer skills and time management skills required -2 years of sales or fire industry experience or education preferred - High school diploma or equivalent required. A valid driver’s license is required –Good, clean Driving record- CDL preferred. A positive, professional customer service attitude and effective communication skills. A willingness to work the required schedule, as identified by the prospective customer, is a must.
Complete a Fire Line Equipment LLC employment application. If after an interview process, a job is offered, potential employee must submit to a background screening to include criminal checks, past employment, 10-year driver records and education. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical. DOT requirements apply for all CDL holders.

Our new 22,000 sq/ft facility houses our new and used fire truck sales departments, service and repair operations, refurbishment and fire truck and ambulance parts business. Serving Central PA as the authorized E-ONE Fire Apparatus Dealer. Along with our new E-ONE truck sales, Fire Line Equipment also buys, sells & brokers the sale of used fire trucks. Established in 2005, Fire Line Equipment employs 30 full-time and several part-time employees.
