We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of fire sprinkler systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements. - Install system piping and components.
- Troubleshoot and repair wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam fire sprinkler systems.
- Document all repairs, discrepancies, and recommendations.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide professional service.
- Communicate with appropriate personnel for follow-ups, quotes, and concerns.
- Ensure work vehicles are stocked with necessary parts, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain all tools and equipment required for safe and efficient job performance.
- Assess customer sites for additional equipment and services that may be needed.
- Provide emergency troubleshooting support via phone or on-site when required.
- Work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Perform tasks at heights, on ladders/lifts, or in confined spaces.
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler system maintenance and repair.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions, decimals, and percentages.
- Field service and customer service experience.
- Experience with foam systems is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Relevant certification or training in fire protection systems is preferred.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at heights.
- Lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally more than 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Visual acuity to see in color, assess close and far distances, and adjust focus.
- Occasionally required to balance, crouch, drive, sit, stoop, twist, and work in confined spaces.
- Frequent local travel, with occasional regional and non-regional travel.
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperatures.
- Work in loud, cramped, and dusty conditions, with potential exposure to fumes, odors, and electrical hazards.
- Occasionally work around chemicals, moving machinery, and uneven/slippery surfaces.
- Consistently adhere to company safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
