What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Extinguisher Supervisor position at Fire Protection Testing?
Fire Protection Testing is seeking a Fire Extinguisher Supervisor for an immediate opening. The primary duties of this position include:
- Supervising daily activities of Fire Extinguisher Technicians completing inspections according to NFPA codes at customer sites
- Sales of new extinguishers to existing customer
- Overseeing Shop Technicians in daily operations
- Upselling products by quoting deficiencies found in inspection reports
- Assist with parts and supply ordering and maintaining minimum levels of inventory
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean record
- Willingness to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Physical requirements: ability to sit or stand for several hours at a time; and lift or move up to 50-pounds
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Preferred Experience:
- F-1, F-3, or F-4 license
- OSHA-10 or -30 certification
- Forklift certified
- Previous fire extinguisher inspection experience
