Fire Rated LLC is a rapidly expanding commercial fire sprinkler contractor dedicated to protecting lives and property. We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in our continued success. About the Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of fire sprinkler system projects, from initial planning and design to final installation and closeout. You will work both independently and collaboratively with our team, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee multiple fire sprinkler projects simultaneously.
- Work with engineers to develop project plans and schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, installation, etc.) and external personnel (contractors, clients, AHJs).
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, determine extra costs, and implement effective solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.
- Manage project documentation, including drawings, submittals, change orders, and closeout packages.
- Conduct site visits and sit in on project meetings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.
- Proactively identify opportunities for project optimization, efficiency and improvement.
- Effectively communicate project status and updates to company principles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fire sprinkler industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire sprinkler systems
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- NICET certification (preferred, but not required).
