Fire & Risk Alliance, LLC is hiring Fire Protection Engineers for locations all across the US in Atlanta, Maryland, Chicago, Southern California, and Northern California. We are looking for engineers with a variety of work experience: 1-3 years, 3-10 years, or 10 years. Remote and/or hybrid work is also possible. Responsibilities
As a fire protection engineer, you will perform:
Project and client management
Fire protection system and life safety system design
Facility fire protection, code and life safety analyses
Fire modeling and smoke control modeling/design
Lithium-ion battery code consulting and fire hazard assessments
Analyses of battery energy storage systems (BESS) and BESS installations
Renewable energy code consulting and fire hazard assessments
Fire and explosion testing
Special hazard evaluations/designs: dust, oil and gas, hazmat, spaceports, energy infrastructure
Forensic engineering
Qualifications
Skills we are looking for can include:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Fire Protection Engineering
Interest in travel and getting your hands dirty and feet wet in the field
Experience in Fire Protection Engineering with design, code consulting, or fire testing
Professional Registration in Fire Protection Engineering (EIT or PE)
Project management/client management experience
Revit or AutoCAD experience preferred
