About the Role: As a Lead Host at Aqua by El Gaucho, you will be the first and last impression for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We are seeking energetic and friendly professionals to welcome both locals and visitors, ensuring each guest enjoys a personalized and memorable evening.
Responsibilities:
- Warmly welcome guests and assist with their coats.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Communicate special requests to the team.
- Answer incoming calls and manage reservations.
- Coordinate guest seating to ensure efficient and fair distribution among servers.
- Manage waitlists by keeping track of waiting guests and providing accurate wait time estimates.
- Maintain cleanliness in the host area and entrance to ensure they are always clean and welcoming.
- Assist with special events by organizing and managing reservations and seating for large parties.
- Monitor the dining room flow to anticipate guest needs and ensure smooth service.
