Firebolt is seeking an Assembler who will ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position requires completing each task with great precision. Position Overview
Firebolt is seeking an Assembler who will ensure that all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. This position requires completing each task with great precision. An ideal candidate must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. The goal is to produce complex outputs by putting assembling components to create signage and related products.
Essential Responsibilities
- Collect all materials and equipment needed to begin the process
- Identify measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
- Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
- Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
- Perform various assembly operations and/or packing duties to achieve production requirements
- Perform various visual and/or manual activities to inspect or verify the accuracy of a part
- Perform basic housekeeping to keep area clean and safe
- Uses hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks.
- Actively listen to fully understand directions
- Collaborate with others to maximize innovation and effectiveness
- Communicate ideas, thoughts, knowledge, and information
- Ability to work effectively with people
- Focus on details to reduce errors and increase efficiency
- Manage time effectively to ensure all work is completed timely and effectively
- Organize work to maximize productivity
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND DEMANDS
- This position is active at times and requires routine movement through the Wixom facility
- Prolonged times in a seated position
- The employee may lift items over 35 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
