About the role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Field Marketing Manager to lead our global field marketing efforts. Reporting directly to the CMO, this role will oversee online and in-person events to drive engagement, pipeline generation, and brand visibility. As a key leader in our marketing organization, the Head of Field Marketing will collaborate closely with sales, demand generation and product marketing teams to create memorable experiences that resonate with our engineering audience and other stakeholders.
About the day to day
Develop and execute a comprehensive global field marketing strategy that includes virtual and in-person events to engage our target audience and generate pipeline growth.Plan and manage end-to-end execution of all types of events including industry conferences, meetups, executive dinners, customer advisory boards and virtual events such as webinars, office hours and workshops.Align closely with sales and demand generation teams to ensure field marketing programs are integrated into the broader go-to-market strategy and deliver measurable results.Design and manage account-based marketing campaigns tailored to key accounts, collaborating with sales to drive engagement and conversions.Partner with regional sales leaders to localize marketing programs that support specific regional objectives and revenue targets.Leverage data and analytics to measure the ROI of field marketing efforts, optimizing campaigns to improve pipeline impact and conversion rates.Own the budget for field marketing programs, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to maximize impact.Collaborate with content and product marketing teams to develop materials and messaging tailored to field marketing initiatives.Stay current on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in event marketing to ensure Firebolt's programs are innovative and effective.Requirements
10 years of experience in field marketing or event marketing roles, preferably in B2B SaaS companies.Proven track record of designing and executing successful virtual and in-person events that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.Experience reaching and engaging technical audiences, especially software / data engineers / data scientists, with creative, relevant, and compelling programs.Strong understanding of ABM strategies and how to leverage them in field marketing campaigns.Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships with sales, demand generation, and product marketing teams.Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously and deliver on time and within budget.Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret program performance metrics, identify insights, and implement improvements.Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a high-performing field marketing team.Creative thinker with a passion for delivering innovative and memorable experiences.Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM platforms.Familiarity with Product Led Growth (PLG) go-to-market strategies is an advantage.Highly proficient with the latest AI tools with demonstrated ability to leverage AI for the role's specific purposes.At Firebolt, we are dedicated to fostering an environment of transparency and fairness in all aspects of our operations, including compensation practices. The pay range listed below reflects the base salary for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. As part of our compensation philosophy, the total compensation is tailored to each candidate and influenced by factors such as job-related skills, level of experience, relevant certifications, and geographical location, to name a few.
