About the role
We’re looking for highly motivated Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to help drive awareness and fuel Firebolt’s pipeline growth. As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for generating high-quality meetings through a mix of inbound and outbound efforts. You’ll work closely with sales and marketing teams, leveraging cutting-edge AI tools and data-driven strategies to engage with key decision-makers and accelerate Firebolt’s go-to-market success.

About the day to day
- Prospect and qualify leads – Engage with potential customers via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels to generate interest in Firebolt and schedule qualified meetings for the sales team.
- Leverage AI-powered tools – Use AI to automate repetitive tasks like account research, lead enrichment, and personalized outreach, allowing you to focus on high-value conversations.
- Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns – Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to develop targeted outreach strategies, leveraging personalization and automation at scale.
- Respond to inbound inquiries – Qualify and follow up with inbound leads, ensuring a smooth handoff to Account Executives.
- Develop a deep understanding of Firebolt’s platform – Learn how Firebolt differentiates from competitors and effectively communicate our value proposition to potential customers.
- Track and optimize performance – Use data and analytics to measure your success, refine outreach strategies, and continuously improve your results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams – Provide feedback to marketing on campaign performance, messaging effectiveness, and prospect pain points.
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales, SDR, or BDR role (preferably in SaaS / B2B tech).
- Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales development KPIs, including meetings booked and pipeline contribution.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to craft compelling outreach messages and hold engaging conversations with prospects.
- Highly motivated and coachable – You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow.
- Tech-savvy mindset – Comfortable using CRM, sales engagement platforms, and AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- A data-driven approach to sales – You use analytics to measure success and optimize your approach.
- Experience in the big data, analytics, or developer space (a plus but not required).

The pay range listed below reflects the base salary for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. As part of our compensation philosophy, the total compensation is tailored to each candidate and influenced by factors such as job-related skills, level of experience, relevant certifications, and geographical location, to name a few.
Local Pay Range - 100,000 - 130,000 per year USD
