What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Service Aide position at Firefighter's Association of the State of New York?
The Firefighter's Home is seeking a responsible individual to join the Dining Services team. Our ideal candidate will look forward to a role where they will spend their time supporting the dietary needs of our resident. This position is primarily a cleaning role, with some cross-training in food preparaton. The ability to work n a team environment is needed. Typical tasks will entail:
- Clean dishes, and pots, kitchen utensils, equipment and floors
- Put away clean dishes and utensils
- Support the dinner service by delivering meals
- Stock service stations.
- Carry food, silverware, or linen on trays or use carts to carry trays to units.
- All applicants must meet all hiring requirements under NYS Department of Health which include a COVID vaccination.

Qualifications
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Experience in serving and food handling
- Knowledge of food preparation and catering
- Dietary aide experience is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
