Overview
We are seeking a founding Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team and help launch a new, family-owned ABA practice focused on home-based therapy. This is a unique opportunity to take on a leadership role in shaping the organization's clinical direction and growth.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral therapy and a passion for improving the lives of individuals with autism and other developmental disorders. Responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families and professionals to implement effective interventions. As a key member of our founding team, you will have the opportunity to grow with the organization and help build a supportive and impactful ABA program.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess the needs of clients.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment data and client goals.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and analyze research data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent implementation of treatment strategies.
- Provide training and support to staff members on behavioral intervention techniques.
- Monitor client progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation.
- Proficiency in patient assessment techniques, particularly for children with autism spectrum disorders.
- Experience working directly with children in a therapeutic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with research data collection methods relevant to behavioral analysis.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
