Firefly Tutors is URGENTLY hiring for a HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC TUTOR
IN-HOME, Experienced Tutor ONLY
HIGH SCHOOL ACADEMIC TUTOR for IN-HOME tutoring in Lodi, CA 95241 and surrounding areas needed to tutor high school students in math
MUST BE AVAILABLE SOME WEEKDAY/DAYTIME HOURS for tutoring
Ideal tutor candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Must be well versed in Integrated math I, government, biology, and ELA
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Provide personalized tutoring sessions based on student's academic needs
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
- Coordinate with parents/guardians to schedule recurring sessions.
- Collaborate with students to set achievable goals and track their development.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Manage tutoring sessions effectively, ensuring a supportive and productive learning environment.
Ability to teach other subject areas a PLUS and increases earning potential
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week
