Firefly Tutors is hiring a Piano Teacher for elementary school-aged students!
This is a year-round position for the 24/25 school year and beyond!
IN-HOME/IN-PERSON lessons ONLY
Piano Teacher needed in Porterville, CA 93257 and surrounding areas (IN-PERSON ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE to provide in-person tutoring throughout the week
Ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Engaging, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in beginning piano skills concepts and instruction
- At least 1-2 years of experience working with students
OTHER ACADEMIC SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASES EARNING POTENTIAL
Responsibilities
- Implement engaging lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Provide one-on-one piano lessons to enhance students' piano skills and musical understanding.
- Manage session dynamics to create a positive learning environment for all age groups.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to foster improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and address any concerns.
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week, Part-time only
