Firefly Tutors is URGENTLY hiring for an ELEMENTARY ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS (ELA) TUTOR (24/25 School year)
IN-HOME/IN-PERSON, Experienced Tutors ONLY
Elementary tutor needed in Chanlder, AZ and surrounding areas (IN HOME ONLY)
MUST BE AVAILABLE to tutor some Mon-Fri WEEKDAYS (during school hours)
Ideal tutor candidate must have/be:
- Bachelor's degree or above
- FUN, skilled, creative, compassionate, intuitive, encouraging tutor
- Versed in best practices and instruction for English language arts (ELA), for elementary aged students
- 1-2 years of experience working with students
Responsibilities
- Provide individualized tutoring sessions in English Language Arts - ELA (reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary, phonics, etc.) to enhance student understanding and performance.
- Implement engaging lesson plans and curricula tailored to students' needs.
- Utilize learning technology to facilitate effective teaching and learning experiences.
- Manage session dynamics and foster a positive learning environment for students of varying ages.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
OTHER SUBJECTS and SKILLS INCREASE TUTOR EARNING POTENTIAL
Pay is $35 per hour
1-20 hours per week, Part-time only
