Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Bartender/Shift Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting Management in daily operations, enhancing the customer experience, and driving sales performance.
Duties
- Assist in managing daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Maintain inventory levels through effective stock management and ordering processes.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales trends and develop strategies for improvement.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, ensuring accuracy in transactions and register operations.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement promotional activities and visual merchandising strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, particularly in food handling if applicable.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or hospitality environment is preferred; experience in nightclub or fine dining settings is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures and experience with cash registers or POS systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, particularly in inventory management and retail math applications.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to help staff navigate challenges effectively.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks related to stocking shelves, lifting merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness.
