- Setting and clearing tables: Bussers clean and set tables for guests, removing used dishes and resetting tables between parties
- Stocking supplies: Bussers stock supplies for front-of-house staff, such as flatware
- Cleaning: Bussers clean floors and chairs, and wipe tables with a sanitized cloth
Food runner's responsibilities include:
- Delivering food: Food runners deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables quickly and accurately
- Maintaining cleanliness: Food runners maintain the cleanliness of the expo line
- Organizing order tickets: Food runners organize order tickets
- Communicating: Food runners communicate effectively with the back-of-house team
