Host (Monday thru Friday 11am-2pm)

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a smooth dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to manage guest relations effectively.

Duties

• Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with menus.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize flow and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
• Assist guests with inquiries and provide recommendations on menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
• Utilize the Future POS system for managing reservations and guest information efficiently.
• Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, ensuring positive guest relations.

Skills

• Strong phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally.
• Experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Future POS, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with guests and team members.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and helping others enjoy their dining experience.
