Essential Functions of Shift Leader:
- Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state and federal regulations
- Ensure knowledge, adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures
- Ensure profitability of the business by operating shifts within established guidelines and requirements for food cost, labor, controllable spending, utilities and sales growth.
- Provide leadership to the restaurant team to consistently meet standards of superior customer service, quality and cleanliness while embracing the Firehouse Subs "Culture" of a cheerful and fun work environment. Leadership and professionalism includes however, not limited to, no fraternization of any kind with crew members. Be the “Role Model” for delivering operations excellence.
- Able to development, train, teach and coach teams up to 3-5 crew members.
- Be available to work any and all shifts, (open, close, daytime, night-time), on any day
- Be able to plan, organize and prioritize your responsibilities.
- Development of self and team members by following a “continual learning” model
- Be able to take responsibility and accountability for own actions and results
- Be accountable for the upkeep and condition of all materials and equipment used within the restaurant or provided to me to use as part of the job/role.
- Be able to accept constructive feedback and praise
- Ensure “image” criteria and requirements are followed by self and team.

- Able to participate in all restaurant functions, (recognition, meetings, gatherings, etc.)

Supporting Duties: Able to work on his/her feet for up to 13 hours
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Maintain awareness and participation in community affairs to take advantage of sales and public relations
- Represent Firehouse Subs in a professional and positive manner at all times
- Communicate effectively to General Manager, Assistant Manager, Owners, and Firehouse Subs Home Office Personnel all issues and opportunities which may impact business
- Be able to maintain all equipment in full working order and communicate problems immediately to General Manager, Assistant Manager or Ownership leader group.
- Able to consistently complete the required administration of paperwork, cash handling and complete use of checklists
- Ability to analyze business trends and help develop plans/implement plans for success. Any other duties assigned by General Manager/Assistant Manager/Owners.
- Must have transportation for ongoing restaurant business needs throughout the day and shifts

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
