Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Shift Manager to join our team at Firehouse Subs. The Shift Manager will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant during their assigned shifts, maintaining high standards of customer service, food quality, and team performance.

Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold Firehouse Subs' standards of excellence.
• Shift Operations: Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, and managing inventory levels.
• Customer Satisfaction: Interact with customers to ensure a positive dining experience, address any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally, and foster a welcoming atmosphere.
• Training and Development: Train new team members on job responsibilities, company policies, and procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to promote growth and development.
• Sales and Performance Management: Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to drive sales and meet targets, while controlling costs and maximizing profitability.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, including cash handling, food preparation, and sanitation practices.
• Team Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with team members, management, and other departments to ensure a cohesive and collaborative work environment.
• Problem-solving: Proactively identify and address operational challenges, resolve conflicts, and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum one years experience in a supervisory or management role in the restaurant industry, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or business management is a plus.
