We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Shift Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in the front of house area, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient food service. You will lead by example, managing staff while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality and food management.
Duties
- Supervise front of house staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Provide outstanding customer service, addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
- Oversee food handling and safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Manage daily operations during shifts, including scheduling, inventory control, and cash handling.
- Train new employees in food service protocols and customer interaction techniques.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area.
- Assist in planning and executing special events or banquets as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick-service fast food restaurant or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong background in customer service and hospitality management.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
- Proven ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
