SCOPE OF POSITION:
Responsible for the secure and efficient operation of the ECM/TRU bank locations. This includes overseeing daily operations, administration, and safeguarding casino assets. The role ensures all accounting activities within the Cage Department are performed accurately and efficiently, adhering to applicable laws, gaming regulations, Internal Controls, and company policies and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties represent the primary responsibilities of this role. Additional tasks may be assigned by management as necessary. All duties must comply with Tribal, Federal, and organizational policies, Internal Controls, and regulations.
- Follow all company and department policies and procedures.
- Accurately handle, count, reconcile, and distribute large sums of currency and chips. Processes, documents and issues/receives chips for fills and credits.
- Maintain inventories and reconcile Marker, Front Money, and Safekeeping accounts.
- Independently count ECM/TRU bank assets and record inventory in computerized accountability system.
- Perform and reconcile kiosk cash cassettes and reporting. Perform physical maintenance of the Kiosk.
- Maintain accurate record of all keys within assigned inventory.
- Complete all required casino documents and follow all policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and thorough departmental records and reports. Attend and complete all assigned training.
- Participate in regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Perform duties of a Cage Cashier as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality.
- Demonstrate consistent and reliable attendance.
- Assist with other duties and projects as assigned.
- Exemplify professionalism as a representative of FireKeepers Casino Hotel.
Job Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must possess the education, training, and experience necessary to demonstrate the ability to successfully perform all essential duties and responsibilities. - Proficiency in both written and verbal English communication is required.
Additional qualifications include strong cash-handling experience, proficiency in computer skills, and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Applicants must thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment that requires focus and attention to detail, demonstrate the ability to resolve problems diplomatically and tactfully, and possess effective communication skills. A high school diploma or GED is required. Applicants must be highly adept with numbers, computer-savvy, and at least 18 years of age. Applicants must have one year of experience in Casino Cage Operations and six months of Cage Cashier experience.
GENERAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should have a thorough understanding of all aspects of front-line Cage Operations. Familiarity with currency processing systems is preferred and considered an advantage.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Applicants must be able to read, analyze, and interpret instructions provided in written, oral, or diagram form. They should also be able to effectively respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Applicants must have the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, including whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY
The role requires the ability to apply common-sense reasoning to a variety of situations effectively and efficiently.
