Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for supporting, promoting and growing the Fireking product line within the current distribution network. Based in the Braintree area, the territory includes New England and eastern New York. This is an entry level sales position. Event planning, front or back of the house restaurant experience, or catering experience is preferred. Candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, as well as an ability to effectively communicate with production, transportation, sales and culinary teams.
Qualifications/Skills
- Be able to lead product training, bread cuttings, business reviews, and conduct presentations to new and existing food service customers.
- Conduct district meetings & trainings to increase product visibility.
- Plan and execute bread presentations at food shows.
- Create and maintain relationships with distributor sales personnel and their support teams.
- Be continually aware of new product placement opportunities.
- Maintain and organize contacts, meetings, and set goals.
- An ability to create new menu ideas to increase product awareness for sales consultants, corporate chefs, clients and prospects.
- Be flexible and willing to assist when sales support is needed outside of territory.
- Ability to multi-task
- Be willing to travel regionally, overnight, and sometimes on short notice.
- Self-motivated
- Detail-oriented, team player.
- Meticulous with follow up information to customers and sales staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to prioritize, make decisions and adapt when things do not go as planned.
- An appreciation and genuine enjoyment of the food service industry.
