What You Will Do:
- Provides care for patients.
- Utilizes the nursing process.
- Incorporates evidence-based practice into daily patient care.
- Collects data to assist in the assessment of the patient.
- Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care.
- Documents patient care.
- Assists in instructing patient/family.
- Assists with discharge planning.
- Communicates with peers, other health team members, patients, and visitors.
- Utilizes guest relations.
- Maintains adaptability.
- Supports unit team.
- Reports problems and assists in resolving them.
What You Will Need:
- Must possess a current license as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse from the State of Ohio.
- Ohio Board of Nursing Certification in Intravenous Therapy.
- Must be currently certified in CPR (and recertified bi-annually).
- Prefer minimum of one year’s experience in pertinent clinical area. Nurses who do not meet this requirement must obtain experience through competency based orientation (CBO).
