What You Will Do :
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor or a Registered Pharmacist - and according to the standard procedures - compounds and readies for dispensing medications and pharmaceutical supplies upon receiving orders from physicians or other qualified prescribers; maintains the drug inventory; maintains records; processes patient prescriptions and related orders and labels; inspects medication in the retail setting; and performs various other related duties. Pharmacy technicians do not perform duties that can legally be performed only by a registered pharmacist.
