Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail sales and the ability to engage with customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
• Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and ensure accurate cash handling procedures.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos and effective upselling techniques.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and stocked.
• Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist with stock replenishment.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries or processing orders over the phone.
• Foster a welcoming environment by being bilingual, if applicable, to better serve diverse customer bases.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
• Familiarity with cash register operations and cash handling procedures is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring others is a plus but not required.
