What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stone Field Coordinator-Bi-lingual position at Fireplace Stone & Patio?
Expectations/Scope of Work: The role of the Stone Field Coordinator is dual in purpose. The first is to service the customers by ensuring quality control on installation and generally seeing to the smooth relationship between customer and company. The second is to act as a conduit between operations, sales, and customer service to improve communication in all technical aspects.
Major Responsibilities, this includes, but is not limited to the following:

Associated Duties
- Installation:
- Inspection of installation for quantity, quality and technical issues as assigned by Installed Products Manager.
- Review and update master installation manual for all veneer products
- Work with crews to ensure daily completion of assigned jobs.
- Meet with sales staff or customer as required on the job to ensure accurate bidding and the ability to do certain jobs.
- Act as a conduit between sales, customer service, and installation teams
- Qualify all jobs to make sure jobsite is prepared, materials are prepared, and installation teams are prepared.
- Measure all jobs and log all required information.
- Ensure installation team is following all OSHA rules.
- Paperwork:
- Ensure job bidding forms are completed correctly.
- Ensure correct PO’s, are issued on every job.
- Complete pre- and post-assessments of each jobsite
- Make sure RGF forms are turned in promptly for pickups to complete jobs.
- Make sure job packets are complete and ready for the billing process.
- Keep up to date logs of all jobs in process and complete.
- Reports and Records:
- Complete and file all reports requested by Installed Products Manager
- Keep record of specific installation requirements for different areas.
- Ensure Goldmine schedules are being kept to date for all veneer install crews.
- Ensure all problems and photos are documented in Goldmine.
- Complete and maintain CTP records for the veneer division.
- Maintain weekly meeting schedules with all veneer personnel.
- Quality Control
- Ensure all installations are being performed above set expectations of management and surpass customer expectations.
- Ensure all install veneer SOP is being followed.
- Make sure quality is above customers’ expectations by inspecting cleanliness of product, quality of work and improve completion rate.
- Assist in setting expectation levels on all quality issues that relate to above standards.
- Make sure all jobs are checked every date to meet Fireplace, Stone and Patio standards
- Inspect job to ensure all OSHA rules are being followed.
- Ensure all jobs are being installed according to each manufacturer installation instructions (Flashing, waterproofing, Etc.
- General
- Keep the Installed Products Manager informed on a timely basis of anything that could affect the company’s operation and profitability.
- Perform any other duties not specifically stated here, which the Internal Operations Manager may assign.
- Keep informed of any changes that may take place within a customer’s organization that may be of interest to management.
- Remain flexible because daily duties will change frequently.
- Back up of all areas will be required.
- Maintain enough staff to ensure scheduling problem do not arise
- Ideal person will be Bi-lingual.
