Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, organized Office Team Manager to provide leadership for our administrative team. The ideal candidate will ensure that operations run efficiently while fostering a positive work environment that prevents burnout and promotes team satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Development
- Lead the hiring process including vetting candidates on really and other platforms, conducting interviews, and managing follow-up communication
- Execute comprehensive onboarding for new team members with training resources
- Conduct regular performance reviews to support professional growth
- Document standout moments (both positive and negative) to provide meaningful feedback
- Collaborate with leadership to establish appropriate compensation and set achievable goals
Meeting Management
- Facilitate weekly check-ins with planning teams (Wedding, Corporate, and School divisions)
- Coordinate with Event Team Manager on operational matters
- Lead monthly meetings with Wedding Sales and Warehouse Management teams
- Ensure effective communication across all departments
Systems & Operations
- Evaluate and improve existing operational systems
- Identify and implement new systems to enhance efficiency and team satisfaction
- Assist with office team projects as needed
Team Culture & Engagement
- Produce a monthly company newsletter
- Organize and facilitate monthly office staff meetings
- Coordinate team celebrations including birthdays and special occasions
- Plan quarterly happy hours and team-building activities
- Coordinate special company events such as winter team parties and holiday gatherings
Qualifications
- Background in business management, preferably in an office environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement efficient systems and processes
- Experience with hiring, training, and professional development
- Capacity to balance administrative duties with people-focused initiatives
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Proficiency with office software and management tools
