Fireside Kitchen is a new fine dining experience coming to Clarkston Michigan! We are searching for an Executive Chef who embodies creativity, leadership and a passion for excellence. This is a rare opportunity to shape the culinary identity of a destination Restaurant, backed by a Team committed to quality, innovation and impeccable service.

What We’re Looking For:
- Deep knowledge of the Menu including ingredients, preparation and Pairings
- Polished, professional demeanor with exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to anticipate Guests' needs and provide a seamless dining experience
- Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with proper Table Service etiquette and presentation
- Upselling Abilities
- Team-oriented mindset, working closely with other Front-of-House Staff
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders and serving food and beverages promptly.
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met during food handling and preparation.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meals.
About Fireside Kitchen:
Fireside Kitchen’s customers will be able to choose between two unique dining options. On the main level, guests will be welcomed to a contemporary, casual, and upscale dining experience. Fireside Kitchen focuses on sourcing fresh ingredients and local flavors while utilizing them in a rotating seasonal menu. The food will be high-end fine dining cuisine, to be enjoyed in a casual and family friendly atmosphere.
The lower level will welcome guests to a classic speakeasy experience. Handmade craft cocktails and shareable small plates will provide an experience to the community. These Dishes will be complimented by a full-service Bar that will include 10 Beer taps with Michigan based Beers.
Management Team:
Jacob Habermas, Jim O’Hearn and Joe O’Hearn wish to open a restaurant of the highest possible quality in the Clarkston area. Joe, Jake and Jim were all born and raised in the Clarkston community.
Joe has owned and operated Mel’s Grill and Mel’s Grill 2 for over a decade. Buck Shots Bar and Grill has been owned and managed by Jim O’Hearn and Jacob Habermas since 2010.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
