Job Summary:

fireside Market is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen operations at our Slinger site. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. This role will assist in establishing delicious, made-to-order offerings while ensuring guests have memorable dining experiences.


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff and ensuring high food quality standards, presentation, and customer satisfaction.
  • Interview, hire, and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Is responsible for the operational and financial success of the restaurant.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Complete truck orders and assist in teaching other managers to oversee these orders.
  • Complete inventory checks on a regular scheduled basis and monitor inventory levels.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement after analyzing the P&L statement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance restaurant performance and profitability.
  • Create and maintain schedules for kitchen staff.
  • Proactively monitor inventory and order supplies to maintain efficient operations.
  • Address customer feedback and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
  • Implement cost control measures to maximize profitability.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork and excellence in service.
  • Implement and maintain company policies and procedures.


  • Additional Duties or Tasks Assigned:
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Requirements for The Job:

  • Experience in handling high-volume sales (preferred - more than $3 million annually).
  • ServSafe Managers certification.
  • At least 7 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a General Manager role.
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of current food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Passion for food and customer service.
  • Teamwork and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and initiative.
  • Ability to set a good example for others.


Work is performed primarily in a retail store environment.

Salary : $65,000 - $75,000
